News: Bon Iver to Release New Record in June
Bon Iver announced that they will be releasing a new self titled album this coming June. Check out the full post here. http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/2011/04/21/135569407/new-bon-iver-album-coming-soon
If the album is anything like their first, and the album cover below, we should be in good shape.

Bands to Watch: The Cloud Nothings are a group from Cleveland, fronted by a 20 year-old named Dylan Baldi who is intent on accomplishing big things. Grown out of a basement project where Baldi played every instrument on the recordings, the self-titled release has taken the indie world by storm. I fully expect them to come away from SXSW as one of the most talked about new artists. With multiple shows each day this week, they are rapidly gaining fans one stage at a time. Here are some of their songs, introducing a band that I’m sure you’ll be hearing about for years to come.
News: Ze Strokes Return

A very comprehensive article on the fortuitous and somewhat divisive history of The Strokes, a band who is set to drop their fourth LP later this month (3/22). As discombobulated as their creative process sounds, they’ve managed to produce some really phenomenal records. To which Julian Casablancas would say, ‘It all works somehow in the end.’
